1. Focus on your emotions

Give yourself permission to recognize and accept the feelings that have been triggered in you and welcome them.

2. Acknowledge the mistake out loud

When you give a voice to the thoughts in your head and the emotions in your heart, you may free yourself from some of the burdens.

3. Think of each mistake as a learning experience

Reminding ourselves that we did the best we could with the tools and knowledge we had at the time,

4. Have a conversation with your inner critic

Helps develope self compassion and can lead you to forgive yourself.

5. Quiet your inner critic

Be aware and interupt the voices. Replace them with self compassion and kindness.

6. Listen to your own advice

 It can help to role-play with your friend. Ask them to take on your mistake & give them advice.

7. Focus on Positive

Focus on doing something positive for yourself. Fitness, patience, healthy eating, hobbies etc.

8. Get professional help

If you are still having a hard time don’t do it alone. Talk to a professional online or in person.
